Me No Bruise Big Toe*

No Bruise!® really works! I was hiding the vodka in the pantry from my son (Don't ask.) and, inadvertently, jostled the pantry-size box of eight cans of Amy's Organic Soup. Three cans of low-fat minestrone dropped onto my big toe.

It took a millisecond for my brain to register the bruising pain. I hollered mightily then ran for the box of NoBruise!® I keep in the bathroom.

Oddly, the "toe incident" happened just after I returned from a Saturday morning massage. I'm beginning to wonder if there's some connection between massage and bruising because the last time I received a massage, I suffered from a painful bout of Morton's Neuroma. Hmmmmm.

I wrapped the towelette around my big toe, sweated for 20 minutes, toweled off and took a nap with my right foot elevated.

When I awoke, I checked out my toe. No bruising, no swelling, no ugly, black and blue toe nail. I even went for a long walk with my husband. Unfortunately, I wore new flip flops and developed blisters.
