How To Reduce Swelling
Ever hear of Morton's neuroma? It's a painful swelling of the foot or ankle which can radiate into the leg. It's breathtakingly painful. Yesterday, as I eased off the massage table, I felt a stabbing, glass-like pain in my foot. In fact, I thought I'd stepped on a piece of glass.
I hobbled out of the room and asked my masseuse if she could take a look. The spot was on the fleshy part of my foot, just below the Achilles heel. The area was swollen and, as I mentioned very painful.
She tells me it's called "Morton's neuroma" and recommended that if the pain didn't subside to see a podiatrist for a shot of cortisone. Extreme cases often require the assistance of an orthopedic surgeon.
Not being too keen on a big needle being inserted into this "tenderfoot", literally and figuratively, I sought out a more natural healing approach to this foot swelling.
I intended to take a hot soak when I returned home from my massage, which I thought might also help with the foot swelling. I had just taken delivery of a new product called No Bruise! which is designed to reduce swelling as well as prevent bruising. (I thought this would be a great bruise preventive to the deep-tissue massage I just had.) Plus, it's 100% natural.
I knew this product worked on bruises because I've seen it work with my own eyes. I decided to test its ability to reduce swelling. Within minutes upon applying the moistened towelette, the swelling and pain were reduced by 75%. I then soaked in the tub, letting the towelette float in the water (my own little invention.) After drying off, my foot pain was almost completely gone.
Today I'm completely pain free and the swelling is gone. So if you want to try a natural healing product that reduces swelling, I recommend NoBruise! wholeheartedly.
